"Don't call it a comeback, we've been here for years" At RPS Imaging, we're in a celebratory mood, channeling some lyrics from the 1990's that are absolutely how we feel as we launch our new, updated website today! Over the past several years we have put our focus on telling our story here, on LinkedIn. Recently, however, we knew that it was past time that we update our site, give it a fresh look, and an overall reassessment. As a company we try to utilize local services as often as possible, in this case it was an easy decision to work with local web designers Sera Group. They were able to bring our vision to life after just a few meetings, and we couldn't be happier. We believe the new site is a great representation of who we are, as well as the services & products that we provide. We look forward to continue to share stories and information both on LinkedIn as well as on our revamped site. We've been here for years, and we aim to keep it that way. #success #inspiration #positivemind #whatinspiresme

Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg are currently among the richest people in the U.S. Most people define "rich" as having a great deal of money or assets. At RPS imaging we believe there are many ways to be rich that do not include having vast amounts of financial resources. This brings us to a recent lunch that we had with a former service engineer Dave Cedoz. Dave retired from our company a few years ago and resides in the Toledo, Ohio area. He did excellent work for us in Southeastern Michigan near Detroit and was very well liked. It is common for us to stay in touch with our former associates whenever possible. Mark and I recently caught up with Dave at a very cool restaurant in Toledo called the Old Bag of Nails Pub. It was great seeing Dave; we shared many laughs and stories. He let us know about his charity work that he was doing with his church which was awesome. He also enthusiastically talked about his children and grandchildren. Family, friendship, faith, and relationships is how we define the true definition of "rich". #motivation #whatinspiresme #bestadvice #mindfulness #success

Most of you will recognize the famous Detroit Tigers Comerica Park. Some of you will recognize the Tigers All Star ace pitcher Tarik Skubal. The key question is who are the two individuals and what are they discussing? Could they be local business partners discussing further renovations of downtown Detroit? Might they be two Tigers Scouts deciding who to move before the trading deadline? Finally, could they be two of our awesome Michigan RPS Imaging Service Engineers enjoying a Saturday night game at the ballpark? If you guessed the later, you would be correct with Bill and Mark enjoying time with fellow engineers and family at an RPS Imaging sponsored Service Event. Fun was had by all as the Tigers defeated the Twins in an exciting matchup. We are very blessed and proud of our Michigan Service Team as they continue to exceed expectations every day! #service #healthcare #culture #teamwork #communication

Seymour, Indiana’s very own John Mellencamp is very active in social causes. His efforts with Farm Aid raised millions for farmers in the U.S. Recently Schneck Medical Center in Seymour held their 43rd Annual Dr. Bud Charity Golf Tournament to raise money for RN Scholarships. RPS Imaging has been a proud sponsor for this event for two decades. The scholarship program was established in honor of Dr. H.P. “Bud” Graessle. He was a practicing physician and surgeon for 53 years until his retirement in 1971. All of the proceeds go to provide scholarships for nursing students in Jackson, Jennings, Scott, and Washington counties. Dr. Eric Fish, and CEO of Schneck Medical Center said that “we gave over $35,000 in scholarships to nursing students this year, and over $800,000 since the event began”! RPS Imaging is very proud to support such a wonderful charity that benefits many individuals where we work and live. #careers #motivation #education #inspiration #charity

"I Had Some Help" is the title for a very popular current hit song that is a collaboration from Post Malone and Morgan Wallen. One of RPS Imaging's Core Values is "Collaboration" and the song title provided with me with inspiration for my recent southern trip. Election years normally are slower times in our industry, and combined with high interest rates, it makes for fewer opportunities. My trip to Chattanooga, TN. and Birmingham, AL were highlighted by seeing some long time friends; Colin Kelley - President of Kelley X-Ray is a second generation owner of a family business, Dan Groenendyk - Financial Advisor at Edward Jones was a former standout Sales Associate from our company, and Tommy Waddell - retired now and previous Owner Red Mountain Imaging. It was great to catch-up, and the conversations offered very unique and insightful thoughts about our current business climate. In summary, this trip was very helpful to view our business from several different vantage points. Although our paths may change, it is important to maintain friendships. I am very grateful to have friends like these for over 20 years that definitely provided "some help"! - Dave Price #bestadvice #networking #entrepreneurship #personaldevelopment #careers

"Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean" This saying can take on multiple meanings when related to the VNA Hospice NWI's 2024 "Hops for Hospice" event in mid-June. This was the 4th annual "Hops for Hospice", which brought together 40 local & national breweries, with all proceeds benefitting the VNA Hospice NWI, and their mission of providing quality end-of-life care. Attendees were treated to over 100 different beverages to choose from, local food, games, raffles, and music by local favorites The Crawpuppies. It was an honor to be invited to help pour beer for Porter County's own Hunter's Brewing. With so many local breweries one might assume there would be an air of competition, but instead there was a sense of collaboration, all of us working towards a common goal of supporting an amazing cause. In addition to the brewery staffs there was also a large contingent of volunteers on site. Being a part of such an outpouring (literally and figuratively) of positivity was refreshing. VNA Hospice NWI is one of the few remaining nonprofit hospices in Indiana. Starting in the 1980's as the first hospice center in Indiana, they continue to lead the way today with non-profit hospice care. They provide hospice care, palliative care, VNA Meals on Wheels of Porter County, the Medical Guardian alert system, grief support for anyone who has lost a loved one, grief support for children at the Phoenix Center, and a We Honor Veterans Program. I'm already looking forward to supporting them at next year's event.  -Bryan Sumney #whatinspiresme #personaldevelopment #mindfulness #inspiration #hospice

Here is the dilemma: you have an associate from your company whose exceptional work ethic and willingness to put in the extra effort make a noticeable difference. This person does not want any special recognition, because he believes that this is normal for his position. So, what do you do? In the case of our exceptional Driver “RJ” (who is celebrating his 7th year at RPS Imaging), you find out that he loves the Florida State Seminoles, and it just so happens that they played in the College Baseball World Series last week. So, you provide him with a trip to Omaha and tickets to see his beloved “Noles”. Although the “Noles” lost to the eventual Champion Tennessee Volunteers, it was a fantastic experience. RJ has been a valuable member of our team, and his efforts are an essential part of our success. He has been a “rockstar” for our Operations Team and his work to deliver all the products we sell in a five-state area are greatly appreciated. The FSU motto is strength, skill, and character and we are very blessed to have an individual like RJ who epitomizes these qualities. #motivation #whatinspiresme #gettingthingsdone #mindfulness #productivity

It’s been said that “The only things worth counting are people you can count on”. Today, we at RPS Imaging are celebrating one of the people that we all count on every single day, Kelley Newby. Kelley started with us in 2005 at only 15 years old, the third of 3 sisters who have worked for RPS Imaging. Initially cleaning offices and filing part-time, within a few years she had become a full-time employee, and over the years since, she has risen to become the linchpin of our service dispatch operations, a critical role that ensures our company runs smoothly and efficiently. Co-workers, vendors, and customers alike rely on her expertise and dependability. Reliability is often seen as the cornerstone of professional success, and Kelley exemplifies this principle every day, we are grateful to have her on our team. She is pictured below with other members of our Operations staff celebrating her recent 35th birthday. #whatinspiresme #positivemind #success #personaldevelopment
