We'd like to take a moment to send a HUGE "Thank You" to the Assistance League of Austin for their generous donation to eliminate school lunch debt in the district's Reduced Meal Program. This donation eliminated school lunch debt at a total of 36 campuses, impacting 2,641 students and covered 100% of the debt from the 2023-24 school year (while also leaving a small credit to carry over into this 2024-25 year). This past June, volunteers helped us assemble 350 "Welcome Boxes" for RRISD Early Career Teachers... and TODAY more of our lovely volunteers helped us to distribute them to each campus! Thank you to the HPM team, Steffanie Bartlett with Community Impact, and @Jen Welton from RRISD Construction staff! We love seeing all of our projects and volunteer efforts come to fruition! They also helped us distribute copy paper for every campus and take home envelopes for elementary campuses (Sponsored by A+ Federal Credit Union and Smile Doctors Orthodontics - Round Rock.
