We had the pleasure of welcoming participants in the NRECA Management Internship Program (MIP) to our Middleton, WI office and warehouse this afternoon, where they learned about our cooperative and current industry trends impacting products and materials. Conducted at the Fluno Center for Executive Education in Madison, MIP is a comprehensive, six-week program that provides in-depth analysis of the functions and processes of co-op management. RESCO President and CEO Matt Brandrup spoke to the group about the benefits of the cooperative model.

Members of the RESCO and EUSCO teams are in Duluth, MN this week for the Minnesota Rural Electric Association’s 2024 Engineers and Operations Conference & Trade Show, a three-day event held at the The Inn on Lake Superior that provides a venue for co-op engineering and operations professionals to learn about best practices and emerging issues, obtain valuable tools to enhance operations, and have the opportunity to network and share lessons learned and experiences with others from around the state. Among the speakers was Jesse Hall, senior sales engineer at Virginia Transformer Corp, one of our manufacturer partners. Representing our cooperative at the event are Joe Cochran, RESCO regional sales director; Robin Doege, EUSCO vice president; Ben Haarstad and Derek Rolle, RESCO Minnesota account managers; and Bob Jenson, EUSCO sales engineer.
