We’re proud to share our latest research published in NEJM Group! Andrew M. Evens, DO, MBA, MSc of Rutgers Cancer Institute and RWJBarnabas Health co-authored practice-changing #ClinicalResearch that compared N-AVD to BV-AVD in adolescent and adult classic Hodgkin lymphoma patients. Researchers concluded N-AVD significantly improved progression-free survival and was better tolerated when compared to BV-AVD, the current standard of care. Dr. Evens was recognized as the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group’s national champion for this study, and Rutgers Cancer Institute was one of the lead enrolling sites nationally for the trial. An amazing milestone as we placed the final steel beam on the Specialty and Cancer Care Pavilion on the Vogel Medical Campus. As part of RWJBarnabas Health's transformative investment in oncology, this facility along with the Melchiorre Cancer Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and the Jack and Sheryl Morris Cancer Center at Rutgers Cancer Institute is reimagining cancer care and research. #LetsBeatCancerTogether
Together, with our patients, physicians, team members and community partners, we’re celebrating a significant milestone in the development of the Vogel Medical Campus at Tinton Falls, raising the final beam on the Specialty and Cancer Care Pavilion. The five-story, 150,000-square-foot facility is central to our strategy to transform care throughout Monmouth County and the region, and to create an integrated network built to address the needs of patients today and in the future. The Specialty and Cancer Care Pavilion will offer comprehensive same-day surgery, on-site specialty physician offices and advanced diagnostic imaging to patients throughout Monmouth County, bringing care closer to where people live, work and play. The facility will also offer state-of-the-art comprehensive cancer care provided in partnership with Rutgers Cancer Institute – New Jersey’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. We look forward to welcoming patients to the Vogel Medical Campus in 2026! Learn more at: www.rwjbh.org/vmc.
