We are SO excited to welcome Daniel Klein, co-founder of Reforest Richmond, to our October gathering. Please join us on October 17 from 5:30-7 pm at Three Notch'd Brewing. Please register (for free) on Ticket Tailor (link in the comment below). Reforest Richmond will also be giving away native tree saplings, and there will be a native plant swap!! Trees are first-come-first-serve. For the swap, bring your extras and favorite species and maybe you'll go home with a new favorite! Bring your name tag, your friends and colleagues, and be prepared to meet new friends!

Join us on Thursday August 15 at Väsen Brewing Company to learn about Keep Virginia Cozy | 5:30-7 pm Our August 2024 gathering features Keep Virginia Cozy. Brian Bell founded Keep Virginia Cozy (KVC) in 2017. He is an avid outdoorsman, long distance backpacker, nature enthusiast, and dedicates his free time to picking up litter to help keep Virginia cozy for all to enjoy. Starting Keep Virginia Cozy was Brian's way of creating something that combined his love of nature with his love of connecting with people positively. Brian believes the collective passion of those who make up our cozy community drive us to overcome challenges and continually seek new ways to promote inclusivity and accessibility to the wild places of Virginia. KVC is a fully zero waste fully volunteer led nonprofit that has removed over 327 TONS of litter and recycling from Virginia's green spaces.

Thanks to Bettina Ring for a wonderfully engaging evening at The Park RVA. Bettina shared many fascinating accomplishments of The Nature Conservancy to a crowd of almost 50 very engaged participants. They protected 500,000 acres and encouraged wise decisions about solar and wind. The Nature Conservancy is thoughtful about policies. #conservation #rva #rvagreendrinks
