Making personalized healthcare possible for individuals, healthcare providers, benefit administrators and employers.

About us

Pharmacogenomics (PGx) is the next frontier in medication therapy management and RxGenomix was created specifically to help put it to work for everyone. RxGenomix helps healthcare providers understand the genetic-driven mechanisms behind the response to medications and navigate the implementation process of a new healthcare tool. By applying PGx testing, they can look at very specific pieces of their patients’ DNA to know, for many of the most common and critical medications, precisely which might be best for that individual, and at what dosage. Empowering healthcare providers with this knowledge has several distinct benefits including more effective overall treatment, limitation or avoidance of adverse drug events, more efficient healthcare delivery and the potential for significant cost savings. The RxGenomix solution is a key strategy to solving for the Quadruple Aim. Everyone wins. We’ve found the path to more personal healthcare and, with our enhanced approach to the application of pharmacogenomics, providers have the power to tailor treatment to the individual like never before.

Join us today for our next PGx Clinical Pearls webinar! Fluoropyrimidines are commonly used in the treatment of metastatic breast cancer, but patients who have at least one copy of a non-functioning DYPD gene will not be able to metabolize fluoropyrimidines appropriately. Prescribing without knowing the function of the patient's DYPD gene could lead to potentially life-threatening drug toxicity. We hope you'll join in the discussion about fluoropyrimidines and DPYD with Dr. Ina Liko today. Just click the link below. https://lnkd.in/ezUV7KSW

When it comes to treatment for cancer, using PGx for precise prescribing could truly mean the difference between life and death. During Thursday’s Clinical Pearls, Dr. Liko will focus on how DPYD gene function affects the use of fluoropyrimidines. The Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) released new guidelines recently for variants to be included in testing, so join in to learn how they move PGx forward for use in oncology. Each session is only 30 minutes and includes time for questions and discussion. If you haven't registered for the series, just click on the link below. You only need to register once.
