🦉 It’s the Last Week of Burrowing Owl Season 2024! 🦉 As we wrap up the 2024 burrowing owl season, we're excited to share that our team conducted over 220 surveys this year! 🏞️ Through diligent monitoring and fieldwork, we’ve played a vital role in protecting these amazing creatures and their habitats. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for your dedication and hard work in safeguarding wildlife! 💚 Remember, while burrowing owls may not be actively nesting at this time, they can still be found at their burrows for up to a month before egg laying and several months after fledging. To ensure their safety, CPW recommends avoiding any efforts to eradicate prairie dogs or destroy abandoned towns between March 15 and October 31, as owls may be present during this time. Since nesting burrowing owls can be difficult to spot, targeted surveys are essential to determine if burrows are occupied. Let’s continue to protect these incredible birds! 🦉💚 #WildlifeConservation #BurrowingOwls #EnvironmentalServices #RPGResources

🌟 Range Resources Annual Golf Outing & Clay Shoot: A Tradition of Giving Back 🌟 For over a decade, our Range Resources Golf Outing and Clay Shoot have been key pillars in supporting nonprofits through our charitable giving program. Thanks to generous sponsorships, 100% of the funds raised have gone directly to nonprofits making a difference in Washington County and beyond. This year, we’re proud to announce that we raised over $500K, contributing to a total of more than $1.5M in funding over the years! 🙌 🏌️♂️ The Golf Outing took place on August 29 at Omni Bedford Springs Resort, with Range Resources & Dustin Bradrick by our side. 🎯 The Clay Shoot followed on October 10 at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, with Nicholas Reda joining us for a great cause. Together, we continue to strengthen our community and support the vital services provided by these incredible organizations. 💙 #CommunityImpact #RangeResources #GivingBack #CharityEvents #WashingtonCountyNonprofits

🌾🐾 Successful Prairie Dog Relocation! 🦉🌱 Our dedicated biologists have been working hard to passively relocate prairie dogs—a protected species amongst several Front Range municipalities. Did you know that burrowing owls, a state and federally protected species, often call prairie dog colonies home? 🦉 Relocation efforts included a silt fence, implementing BMPs (Best Management Practices) across the work area, and multiple passive relocation efforts to ensure every burrow within the site was properly managed. We’re thrilled to report that our efforts were successful! 🎉Protecting wildlife and their habitats is our priority. #WildlifeConservation #PrairieDogRelocation #BurrowingOwls #EnvironmentalProtection #ConservationSuccess #ColoradoWildlife
