We put up a short article on the #s4x25 keynotes.

S4x25 attendees (not speakers) have two chances to get on stage. One is Unsolicited Response where you get 5 minutes, to rant, critique, ideate, sing, dance, or work on your comedy routine. It closes down Stage 2, is always fun, and benefits from an early opening of the craft beer and root beer. The second is to be a contestant on My Favorite Metric! Contestants are given 3 minutes to explain their metric and why it's their favorite. Celebrity judges give them a score. The winner gets $2000 in cash.

Want to hold some meetings at #S4x25? We have two board rooms (22'x29') available for 3-hour blocks in the morning and afternoon. Free to industry / worthy causes (upon approval). Vendors can purchase.

A bit of Friday fun. This is the #s4x25 Big Party karaoke stage (sans the lighting tree). A real stage for your performance. Should be fun. We will have a pre-event signup and song selection, and there will be spots who make an at the party decision.

It's also little effort on our part. We provide a free table, some promo, and an audience hungry to figure out this "what training" thing.

We have launched the #S4x25 charity: water campaign. As in past years Dale Peterson will match your contribution until we reach our goal of $20K. There also will be an opportunity to get a $25 donation by participating in an art installation at S4x25. The S4 community has raised over $100K for charity:water in past events. This has led to villages in Sierra Leone and Uganda (we have the GPS coordinates and system descriptions) having simple water systems installed for clean, drinkable water. This is life changing for the village in so many ways, health, time, education, career, ... We picked charity:water because it is 1) Critical Infrastructure, 2) Very simple but monitored by SCADA, and 3) Every dollar we donate goes directly to install and maintain water systems (they raise admin dollars separately). We know there are many worthy organizations. If this one resonates with you please check it out and donate.
