Relive the magic of SABANY’s 2024 Annual Leadership Gala ✨ A theme of uplifting the South Asian legal community threaded through the night from awards reviewed, individuals honored, and speeches given. In the past year, SABANY has hosted and/or co-sponsored over 40 events including marquee events such as our Public Interest Fellowship Reception and the Private Sector Reception. We hosted new events including a Judicial Reception, reenactments of the landmark Thind and Ozawa cases, a Pitch Academy, and a live podcast with Gurbir Grewal. SABANY and Asian American Bar Association of New York’s LGBTQ+ Committee collaborated to foster greater inclusivity within the Asian legal community. We partnered with Desi American Woman Network, and South Asian Trailblazers to explore wide issues like colorism, fighting for a seat at the table, and imposter syndrome. Thank you to the entire SABANY community for helping us make the past year possible. We greatly appreciate all the time, donations, and commitment you have given us. We thank to all the incredible organizations we partnered with to help bring forth innovative ideas for different cross sections of the community.
