For over 20 years, Nissan Motor Corporation and SAE have worked together to impact students through equitable STEM education and opportunity. We'd like to acknowledge their continued support of enriching, hands-on STEM learning for PreK-12 students and teachers in five Nissan communities across the nation through the SAE A World In Motion® (AWIM®) program and their Gold level sponsorship of the 2025 Formula SAE EV competition for university students. Nissan is also a STEM Pioneer Sponsor for the 2025 SAE Foundation Annual Celebration taking place in the spring. Thank you, Nissan, for enriching people's lives! #NissanPhilanthropy

Thank you The Spectris Foundation for your support!
It was brilliant to see some very young engineers in action this week! Foundation Director, Sarah Smith, joined 4th and 5th graders at 186th Street Elementary School in LA as they engaged with our charity partner SAE Foundation and its “A World In Motion” program, focusing on the JetToy module. The 10 and 11-year-olds tested balloon-powered toy cars that they had designed and created, learning through teamwork and problem-solving. With roles like 'Project Engineer' and 'Test Engineer', they not only built models but also developed critical STEM skills. The program aims to spark interest in STEM while equipping teachers with the confidence to teach these subjects. One 10-year-old aspiring astronaut engineer summed it up perfectly: “It was a good experience. We got to do engineering and we learnt from our mistakes. Just because you get something wrong, doesn’t mean you can’t fix it.” Thank you to the SAE Foundation, Alicia C. Bott, Ph.D, 186th Street School (especially teacher Adan Gonzalez) and all the students, for your inspiring work! You can find out more here: https://lnkd.in/eNVUN7qY
