Our team showcased the Bridge to Homeownership and FSS programs, which support public housing and HCV residents in their pursuit of homeownership and financial independence. The Clinton-Peabody Redevelopment – Phase 1 has been awarded $500K from the City of St. Louis’ Community Development Administration through the Neighborhood Transformation Grants program. This award is in addition to the $2.42M received in 2023, bringing the total to $2.92M for housing development and planning efforts! Phase 1 will bring 89 brand-new 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units near Chouteau Ave., with designs shaped by Clinton-Peabody residents. Watch for redevelopment updates at clintonpeabodystl.org.

Over the weekend, SLHA staff took part in Lincoln University's "Can You Dig It?" Women's Wellness Retreat. The participants attended workshops and demonstrations focused on promoting a healthy lifestyle through nature-based interventions. A special thanks to Lincoln University's Cooperative Extension and the workshop presenters for providing such a unique and outstanding training experience.
