We are excited to announce that St. Mary’s General Hospital has earned an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a patient safety ratings organization. Grades are assigned to hospitals across the country based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries and infections as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them. This is the sixth “A” in a row for St. Mary’s General, achieving the milestone since 2021, and is the only hospital in Passaic County to earn the grade. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Grades are updated twice annually, in the fall and spring.
