At our #centennial event, we unveiled a new mural in the main lobby. This mural was produced in collaboration with our partners at Cornerstone West and West Side Grows. The three artists, Erica E.Lize Jones, JaQuanne LeRoy and Cony Madariaga, spent many hours over the past month bringing this mural to life. All three artists connected with this project on a deeper level as they are from our community, and Cony’s cousin, Paulina, is a current colleague at Saint Francis Hospital. Thank you to Erica, JaQuanne and Cony for their dedication, which has made a permanent mark on our centennial celebration.

For nearly 100 years, Saint Francis Hospital has served the Wilmington community and Northern New Castle County by providing compassionate health care of the highest quality. Founded by the Sisters of Saint Francis of Philadelphia in 1924, Saint Francis heeds a particular call to serve those in need. Our ministry is to serve all who require expert medical care regardless of religion, race, color, creed or economic status. A member of Trinity Health of Livonia, Mich., Saint Francis offers emergency care, cardiology, cancer care, family medicine and women's health among other services. In addition to providing health care in an acute setting, Saint Francis also offers LIFE (Living Independently for Elders), a program of all-inclusive care for seniors, a Home Care program and a variety of affiliated physician practices. Saint Francis Healthcare is a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, along with St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pa., and Mercy Health System of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
