This past week, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Samaritan Ministries, we had a staff "Spirit Week." Each day had a different theme to it, including "purple day" and "dress like it is 1994" day. We also had a special staff meeting reflecting back on 30 years of God's faithfulness to this ministry and all that He has done. Samaritan Ministries is working to redeem health care by connecting Christians across the nation who care for another when a medical need arises. It's how meeting the needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ should be (Acts 2:44-45).

The Healthcare Sharing Accreditation Board, established in 2020, takes a deep dive into health care sharing ministries that apply for accreditation, examining dozens of critical organizational characteristics to decide whether it meets the exacting standards of a transparent, true health care sharing ministry. Samaritan Ministries was accredited in 2022, the first-year accreditation was awarded.
