Each year at Samsung, we find new ways for community outreach. This year we decided to make sure the School District of Newberry County teachers had everything they needed for the 2024-2025 school year by donating $10,000 for academic supplies. "Good teachers make good students, that’s my experience, so supporting teachers is the best way to improve our students’ abilities," said Jeremy Lee, President of Samsung South Carolina. Last week Samsung South Carolina CFO Jacob Lee proudly represented our team at the 2024 Republic of Korea – Southeast U.S. Economic Partnership Conference in Atlanta, GA. Jacob joined a panel to discuss ESG and corporate social responsibility. This event was organized by the Consulate General of The Republic of Korea in Atlanta, Korea International Trade Association, KOTRA, and the Department of Commerce/Economic Development of six Southeast states. Top officials in attendance included Samsung South Carolina CEO Jeremy Lee, Consulate General of Republic of Korea in Atlanta, and state commerce leaders of six participating states, including our home state’s Secretary of Commerce Harry M.
