SAMSUNG SDI participated in "RE+24" and introduced various ESS batteries including "SBB (Samsung Battery Box) 1.5," high-power battery for UPS, and LFP battery under the theme of "A Sustainable Future Driven by PRiMX." In this exhibition, we introduced an upgraded SBB 1.5 to the US customers. SBB 1.5 offers 37% higher energy density than previous version and EDI(Enhanced Direct Injection) technology to prevent thermal propagation. Furthermore, we showcased high-power battery for UPS which will be mass-produced next year. It is a solution with increased cycle life and reduced operating costs. Besides, SDI introduced LFP batteries which will be mass-produced in 2026 as well as ESG performance and strategies such as RE100, carbon footprint certificates, and waste battery recycling activities. At the exhibition, we met numerous customers and had a chance to find their perspectives of our products.
