Last week, we were excited to celebrate the opening of Lyrik, Boston’s first air-rights project in over 40 years, which stands as a new gateway to the city and an anchor for the Back Bay neighborhood. Lyrik features two buildings and a multi-level public plaza, offering an inviting space for the community to gather, connect, and enjoy a beautiful sunset.
“It's amazing to see how active the plaza is in just the first few weeks since its opening,” noted David Manfredi FAIA, LEED AP. “People are gathering and enjoying the space, which is exactly what we envisioned.” Projects like Lyrik demonstrate the immediate impact that thoughtful and creative design can have on the urban landscape—bridging neighborhoods, fostering connections, and creating spaces where culture can thrive.
Congratulations to our Elkus Manfredi team and our partners Samuels & Associates, WSP, McNamara • Salvia, Structural Engineers, LeBlanc Jones, VHB, RWDI, Jensen Hughes, CASTELLI-DESIGN, Van Deusen & Associates, Hailey & Aldrich, Intertek, Gordon H. Smith Corporation, Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH), Roll Barresi & Associates, Robbie McCabe, and Ricca Design Studios on this remarkable achievement. Lyrik is a testament to the creative use of space that meets the evolving needs of Boston’s communities, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience it.
