Our arts and culture scene is one of the top reasons visitors choose SF, and we support these local creatives, which draw in hundreds of thousands of visitors a year. Check out the newest additions to our maps along with iconic SF institutions, creatively keeping SF the artistic city it has always been! Shout out to Brenda Tucker, our Director of Arts Marketing, and our creative team, including Charles Rubinoff, who dedicated significant time and effort to redesigning our maps, which is just one piece of the puzzle for promoting our extraordinary destination. Did we mention they're FREE for all visitors to download? Don't take our word for it. Take Daniel's. It's time to visit San Francisco to see how vibrant it is with your own eyes.
I spent this past weekend in San Francisco with my wife. It had been a few years since I had been back. I was a little nervous about where we should go, asking is it safe, what's open, how bad is it?? I'm so sorry I hadn't visited sooner. We were all over town in two days and it was one of the best weekend trips we have had in a while. The city was vibrant, tourists and locals were out and about, plenty of food and shopping options and never felt unsafe (we did not encounter homeless or pan handlers as has been widely reported). The city was clean. Our son was there recently and had a similar positive experience. I am aware they have had their issues, but am so happy for this great city to be alive again. We keep saying we can't wait to go back. If you've been thinking about going, you should. #sanfrancisco

Together with the San Francisco Arts Commission, we gathered arts and culture institutions from all over the city to collaborate, share, and learn. SF Travel is a massive supporter of our great city's art scene because it continues to be one of the top reasons visitors come to San Francisco. These meetings generate great ideas, and we look forward to continuing to support these vital aspects of the San Francisco experience. Thank you to everyone who attended! Yesterday, we joined the "Chinatown Artist Registry" launch with the San Francisco Arts Commission and Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco! SF Travel is excited to support this initiative, which invests in the arts and our local communities by supporting artists with deep ties to Chinatown. This program will help promote SF's public art scene by matching qualified artists with public art projects at Portsmouth Square, Chinatown Public Health Center, and Chinatown Him Mark Lai Branch Library. We are excited to see what unique public art will come from these talented artists, which will directly benefit our local communities and visitors to San Francisco.

Through visitor surveys, San Francisco's arts and culture scene is consistently rated as one of the top reasons to visit. And it's a great sign that these institutions are starting to match and even exceed pre-pandemic attendance. There is much cause for optimism around the positive momentum we are experiencing in San Francisco. We invite you to experience our world-renown arts & culture scene for yourself. https://nyti.ms/4eKOQtH
