💥 SEA is HIRING!! 💥 Economic Development Research & Marketing Manager Sandoval Economic Alliance (SEA) is a private non-profit organization that focuses on economic development (creating jobs and growing the economy) for the City of Rio Rancho and Sandoval County, New Mexico. SEA is seeking an innovative economic research professional to lead in-house research efforts on gathering, managing and analyzing demographic data for the organization, and conducting custom research to graphically communicate information to support SEA’s mission and goals. Engage in marketing and communications activities associated with SEA’s mission. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Specific duties include, but not limited to: • Provide economic development research and analysis to support SEA’s business retention and expansion, entrepreneurial support, and new business recruitment programs. • Research, measure and aggregate key demographics, employment, real estate, and community statistics for SEA’s website, community profile, marketing materials, and proposals. • Track emerging trends and prepare research reports, brochures, flyers, statistical data, maps, surveys, and site profiles. • Obtain utility (electric, natural gas, water, and wastewater) capabilities and maintain contacts to obtain information and estimates. • Prepare specialized packages of information for business and development prospective clients. • Prepare monthly and annual reports of SEA’s economic development metrics in accordance with organizational contracts. • Maintenance and improvement of internal database capacity and functionality and enhancement of in-house data collection platforms. • Manage the quarterly cost of living data collection and reporting requirements. • Develop campaigns and content to market SEA services, programs, and events as well as Sandoval County and Rio Rancho as a business location. • Support SEA staff on social media, marketing initiatives and events. PROFESSIONAL SKILLS • Proficient in Microsoft Suite; some experience in Publisher/Canva, CRMs, databases • Research capabilities • Technology savvy • Marketing/graphic design/social media PERSONAL SKILLS • Detailed, analytical and organized • Excellent written and communication skills • Critical thinking and problem solver • Team player and self-motivated • Performs well under pressure and with deadlines • Interested in the community and its future DESIRED EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics or related field, or Associate’s degree with similar skill sets and related experience.
