Another successful Gear UP event at Kohl's! Thanks to generous SRYMCA members, volunteers, and donors, we were able to provide 42 students with back-to-school shopping funds. Everyone wants to feel confident in what they are wearing - especially school children. We are so grateful to be able to hold this event for the forth year in a row to send these kids back to school feeling like their best and most confident selves!

We’re wrapping up Summer Camp 2024 this week! We’d like to thank all who have supported our efforts to help families in need. Because of you, over 80 children were able to experience the joys of camp this summer, who wouldn’t have been able to without your help. Pizza and Pints for a great cause!🍕🍺 We are teaming up with the Speckled Pig Brewing Co. for a Pizza and Pint Night on Thursday, August 15th from 4pm - 9pm. $1 from each pint and pizza sold will benefit the Malta Y's Annual Campaign, ensuring all children, teens, seniors, families and adults have access to quality child care and health programs. Bring your friends and family and join us for a fun evening!

Yesterday was National Lifeguard Appreciation Day, but we believe our lifeguards should be appreciated everyday! THANK YOU to our lifeguards and pool staff for choosing the Y and this community to work for and keep safe, we are so thankful to have you!

Today wraps up the third week of Summer Camp at the Y!🎉 The impact of camp is evident in the faces of our campers as they gain confidence, independence, and meaningful connections with others. Summer camp lets them be kids and offers them opportunities that will shape their futures and create cherished memories to last a lifetime!

Despite the rainy weather this past Saturday, we were still able to hold our Annual Staff Appreciation BBQ party to thank and celebrate our amazing staff! Staff and their families from across our association came together to celebrate the hard work that gets put into the Saratoga Regional YMCA each and every day. It was a memorable afternoon complete with Rollin' Smoke BBQ, Dairy Haus ice cream, an ice cream eating contest, raffles, giveaways, a bounce house, face painting, games, music, and more! Thank you to our Y United Committe for planning and executing a wonderful event! We really have the best staff!

Yesterday we celebrated Juneteenth - a remarkable milestone in our nation’s history that honors freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality. Juneteenth recognizes the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrates the spirit of unity and progress. We celebrated Juneteenth with an event put on by Our Lodge Foundation, MLK Saratoga, and Frederick Allen Lodge 609 and was held at our very own Saratoga Springs Branch! This incredible event included poetry, music, dancing, reenactments, and more. As an organization that embraces diversity, inclusivity, and social equality, we stand in solidarity with the movement and remind ourselves of the work that still lies ahead in creating a more just and equitable society for all.

What an incredible day at our 34th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held at Saratoga Lake Golf Course!⛳️ The Annual Golf Tournament benefits our Annual Campaign, ensuring all children in our community can attend summer camp. We believe it is vital that all children have access to a safe and welcoming place to go over the summer, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. We are beyond excited to announce we raised over $75,000 from the tournament!🙌 We are grateful for all major sponsors, who allowed this day to happen. Additional thanks to all participants for an incredibly fun day and all staff involved for making the event run so smooth. We already can’t wait for next year’s tournament!❤️
