We empower women with compassion, education and holistic care.

About us

Our mission at Save the Storks is to create a story of hope and empowerment for every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy. The legendary story of the stork makes it the perfect symbol for our pro-life nonprofit. Storks represent mothers and their babies, and our commitment to caring for them by offering hope, compassion, and truth ultimately saves lives. People are used to campaigns designed to save animals. When they hear our name, they wonder, “Who in the world would kill a stork?” Our response and branding disarms those who would criticize what we do and communicates in a winsome way that we believe abortion threatens mothers and motherhood. Our initial goal was to partner with pregnancy resource centers to launch mobile medical units across the country to serve abortion-vulnerable women. At the time, with only one employee on the team in 2012, that vision seemed audacious and crazy. As we started adding people to our team in 2014, the vision expanded and we felt God leading us into even bigger territory, all with the vision of helping mothers. Today, Save the Storks partners with pregnancy resource centers all over the nation, providing them with powerful tools and training to more effectively connect with those women in their communities. With the support of our donors, we have built 63 Stork Buses and empowered moms to choose life for nearly 10,000 babies. Save the Storks is reimagining the meaning of what it means to be pro-life. To be a movement of love, compassion and action. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn and join the movement! *As of September 2021

Elle Magazine published an expose from the former CEO of Obria Group, a life-affirming network with 21 pregnancy clinics in six states across the US. In this article, Dawn Hughes, the former CEO, critiques the practices of pro-life clinics, particularly organizations like Obria, suggesting that their methods are problematic. Is the narrative in the Elle Magazine fact or fiction? Read what Heather Lawless, Founder & CEO of Reliance Center, had to say on our blog: https://lnkd.in/gAh7bqXP

At Save the Storks, our Partner Clinical Models are designed to empower your clinic to deliver exceptional holistic care to women facing unplanned pregnancies. We will explore why Maternal-Child Healthcare is vital for your pregnancy clinic, covering gold-standard guidelines that include medical, social, emotional, financial, and spiritual support, alongside robust clinic administrative backing. 🗓️ Mark Your Calendar: Date: Wednesday, September 4 Time: 2:30 PM MST Location: Crest 04 Room The Gaylord -Denver, CO https://lnkd.in/gKirFVCj Let's join forces to ensure every woman has access to the comprehensive care she deserves. In today’s cultural landscape, being a pro-life advocate in college is increasingly uncommon. A Gallup poll reveals that 70% of college graduates identify as pro-choice, while only 29% align with pro-life views. Even among those with some college education, the numbers show a clear pro-choice majority at 56%, compared to 39% who identify as pro-life. This makes college-aged pro-life advocates uncommon—and their voices even more vital as they stand up for life and prepare to pass on this mission to future generations. We interviewed two dedicated Baylor University students, Sarah Carter and James Foley, to share their experiences and insights on what it means to stand up for life on their campuses. Read what they had to say about being a pro-life advocate in college on our blog: https://lnkd.in/gFhqYDzy

"It is understandable that companies would see a “gap” in a woman’s resume as a negative component – a time when she was not developing or enhancing skills in her chosen field of work. I believe, however, that this time away from the workforce should be considered a benefit and looked at in a positive light because of the countless skills that moms learn and cultivate while they spend most of their day raising young children and not at a formal job."
