About us
Savings Bank of Walpole is a state chartered mutual savings bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). We are a financial institution like no other in our market, a financial institution without a shareholder, a mutual bank. Here today, and prepared for tomorrow. Providing the best in banking values — we are your advocate. The bank was established in 1875 for the purpose of promoting thrift and providing a safe depository for the funds of the residents of Walpole and the surrounding New Hampshire and Vermont towns.

Congratulations to our Eagle winners Makaylah and Dakota! The Adler Eagle goes to Makaylah. She is recognized for all that she does for not only her customers, but also her coworkers. A great mentor to some of our younger employees, Makaylah is wonderful at stepping out of her comfort zone in order to grow and shows others how to do the same. Our Colbert Eagle goes to Dakota. She is knowledgeable, skilled and personable, she can answer any question that gets thrown her way. She knows most everyone that walks into the Winchester branch! She is incredibly selfless. Her remarkable strength and dedication in all aspects of her life make her a vital member of our team and an excellent nominee. We appreciate both of you so much!

At Savings Bank of Walpole, we're committed to our community and to supporting nonprofit organizations that truly make a difference in local lives. To create greater awareness about these organizations, we're profiling many of them in Nonprofit Spotlights. We hope you'll be inspired to show your support in any way you can -- through donations, volunteer work, and of course, by following them on social media. This week we're shining the spotlight on Connecticut River Conservancy (CRC). See more at https://bit.ly/3zPE8Cn

Congratulations to our September Eagle winners, Bianca and Rayna! This month’s recipient of the Adler Eagle has come into their own as a young professional and has worked on stepping outside their “comfort zone” when it comes to advocating for themselves, our customers and their community. Rayna steps up as a volunteer and works on some of our subcommittees internally, she is a wonderful example of a team player that exemplifies our A+ Merits (Accountability, Mutuality, Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Stewardship). Well done Rayna! Bianca was nominated as September’s winner of the Colbert Eagle Award which focuses on excellence in work and caregiving. Bianca she is able to adjust and pivot on a moment’s notice. She is known to process large volumes of work, frequently having the highest transaction counts and truly goes above and beyond for her SBW family. Being a mother, Bianca’s day undoubtedly starts long before she’s thinking about bank work and surely doesn’t end when the branch closes. Thank you for all you do!
