Not only will we miss Steve for his expertise, we will miss his humor and his heart. If you know Steve, you know his character is unmatched and although the office won't be the same not seeing him every day, we are excited for him in his well deserved retirement.

Congratulations to our September Eagle winners, Bianca and Rayna! This month’s recipient of the Adler Eagle has come into their own as a young professional and has worked on stepping outside their “comfort zone” when it comes to advocating for themselves, our customers and their community. Rayna steps up as a volunteer and works on some of our subcommittees internally, she is a wonderful example of a team player that exemplifies our A+ Merits (Accountability, Mutuality, Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Stewardship). Well done Rayna! Bianca was nominated as September’s winner of the Colbert Eagle Award which focuses on excellence in work and caregiving. Bianca she is able to adjust and pivot on a moment’s notice. She is known to process large volumes of work, frequently having the highest transaction counts and truly goes above and beyond for her SBW family. Being a mother, Bianca’s day undoubtedly starts long before she’s thinking about bank work and surely doesn’t end when the branch closes. Thank you for all you do!

Savings Bank of Walpole is pleased to announce that Roy Graves has been promoted to Senior Construction Loan Specialist for New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB). Roy will utilize his construction expertise in his new position at NHMB while also continuing to take care of our local customers at Savings Bank of Walpole. Way to go Roy!

Congratulations to our August Eagle Award winners, Sam and Roy! Sam is the winner of the Adler Eagle Award. She is someone who is not only knowledgeable in all aspects of banking, she also participates in many community events year after year. She has made a name for herself as being a dependable friend, eager volunteer, consistent professional, and kind human. We are very lucky to have her on our Mortgage Lending Team. Our Cobert Eagle winner this month, Roy, former Mortgage Loan Officer now Senior Construction Loan Specialist has been a team member of ours for just shy of 2 years! He’s a natural salesman with attention to detail, he took each borrower under his wing to the finish line and beyond since he started at SBW, making strong connections quickly! He does not miss a beat as father to wonderful daughters while working from home either. Thank you both for all your hard work!
