CEO @ Icon, Founder @ Skio ($10M+ ARR)

Excited to introduce Icon, The First AI Admaker. We’re backed by Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund & execs of frontier AI labs like OpenAI, Pika, & Cognition. Icon (icon.me) is like ChatGPT + CapCut, but for making winning ads with AI in minutes. How it works: 1. Icon looks at your video library & tags scenes (e.g. "close-up," "unboxing"). These scenes become reusable clips used as lego blocks for making ads. 2. Prompt Icon’s AdGPT to generate scripts focused on specific angles & audiences. 3. Icon finds perfectly matching clips for every script scene & generates an ad that is 80-99% complete. 4. Make edits with our CapCut-like video editor until you're happy. 3-person creative teams make 30 ads per month. With Icon, they make 300. We co-built Icon with $100M+ revenue brands like Ridge, Jones Road, Immi, Backbone, & MUD\WTR to solve big pain-points: 1. Making lots of ads is extremely painful. Icon helps you automate the tedious parts of scriptwriting, scene matching, video editing, audience research, UGC creation, & more. 2. AI-generated ads look like trash. Icon remixes your existing footage into new ads, matching your production quality & maintaining brand aesthetics. 3. Existing solutions charge $2K-$30K/month for: 🔍 Competitor ad spying & cloning 📈 Creative analytics 📹 Custom & stock avatars for AI UGC 👥 Audience research 📁 Video storage & tagging Icon does scriptwriting & video editing on top of everything above for just $999/year (their margin is our opportunity 😉). If you’ve made it this far, we have a surprise for you 👇🏻 We had an internal Google Drive with 1000 winning ads from brands doing $20M+ in revenue (we used these to train our AI model). To the right person, this could be worth more than $100,000. Today, we're giving it away for free. Comment “Icon” below and we’ll send you the Google Drive link.

Master AI before it masters you.

BREAKING: China just released a new model. And no. This is NOT about DeepSeek: Meet Qwen-2.5, from the giant Alibaba. ☑ It can code, write text, search the web. ☑ It can generate images, like Dall-E. ☑ It can even generate videos. Here's everything you need to know... 1. Omni-modal mastery: ☑ Handles document parsing (tables, charts, handwriting), object grounding (JSON coordinates), and ultra-long video comprehension (hours-long footage with second-level event localization). ☑ Generates structured outputs for invoices, forms, and spatial reasoning tasks. 2. Scalable architecture ☑ Available in 3B, 7B, and 72B parameter sizes ☑ Proprietary MoE variants (Qwen2.5-Turbo/Plus) for enterprise-scale efficiency. 3. Open-source accessibility ☑ Base and instruct models released on Hugging Face and ModelScope under Apache 2.0. ☑ Quantized versions (GPTQ, AWQ) for edge deployment. 4. Training efficiency ☑ Pretrained on 18–20 trillion tokens with dynamic resolution/frame-rate training. ☑ Enhanced via multistage RLHF and SFT with 1M+ samples. 5. Benchmark dominance ☑ Outperforms GPT-4o, Claude-3.5-Sonnet, and Llama-3-405B in MMLU-Pro, LiveCodeBench, and Arena-Hard. ☑ Qwen2.5-Max beats DeepSeek V3 in coding and reasoning tasks using 40–60% fewer resources. Availability & Integration ☑ Hosted demo: Qwen Chat & Alibaba Studio. ☑ Local/API use: OpenAI-compatible endpoints and Hugging Face integration: ```python from transformers import Qwen2_5_VLForConditionalGeneration, AutoProcessor model = Qwen2_5_VLForConditionalGeneration . from_pretrained("Qwen/Qwen2.5-VL-72B-Instruct") processor = AutoProcessor . from_pretrained("Qwen/Qwen2.5-VL-72B-Instruct") # Process interleaved image/video + text response = model.generate("Describe this video of a tennis match.") ``` This is yet another open-source Chinese model. First DeepSeek, now Qwen: something is shifting. The China vs. USA race just started. And it feels like USSR vs. USA to get to the moon. But this time, it's to control super-intelligence. Chinese launches are stellar. The US must wake up.

AI image and video generation is really coming along very nicely. Take a look at this. It's fully AI generated. ✨ First frame: Generated with a custom Flux (LoRA) model. ✨ Video: Generated using Kling AI (kling-v1.6-pro). Both are generated on Replicate. (10/10 recommend, their platform is amazing). The last 3 seconds look a bit off as my face is morphing too far from what I actually look like. But I'd take the first 7 seconds! ❌ No more generic stock video. ✅ Custom B-Roll with myself in it. Time spent to create this clip: - 9 minutes. As a small one-man YouTube team, this is friggin' amazing!

Posted the full video on TikTok but this part 🤣 I saw a trend on Twitter where a certain #HR on LinkedIn who is an aclaimed seasoned professional is just into two months of her internship 🤣 I have also seen CVs that do not match the qualifications perceived from people’s LinkedIn I interviewed a candidate on behalf of Smartsafe Consulting and Technology last year for a lead sales role and he claimed to know everything about sales At first, the age and years of experience made me look unworthy of interviewing him (that part of me that respects experience got a better of me) Only for me to start asking my personal “on-the-spot” questions and bro couldn’t answer one! I wasn’t a success in sales, but believe me, I am way more successful than this dude 🤣 That day I learned people could make up stuffs in their experiments sections — I am not also there yet. But I try to learn as much as I can to be who I desire to be. That’s why I am sharing this video… In 2025, drop the “new me” act and face your truth. Iron the part of you that’s incompetent. It might not be skill wise, for someone like me, it’s definitely not skill wise for this year. I got some honest feedback from unhappy clients from last year and I got lovely feedback from the ones that were extremely satisfied too One even invited me for their annual company dinner coming up this Sunday. — So, I will build on the strength that helped me satisfy those ones While I work on the weaknesses that led me to have unsatisfactory success with the others — The big question this Friday is “what will you be working on?” Cheers to a happy and productive year ahead 🥂

Types of ROI you never knew existed. For over a week I have locked in 🔏 doing a personal MBA program 🤣. And I am currently on the “12 week MBA”. However I came across something that I really wanted to share last week but I wasn’t emotionally stable enough to write. ✍️ — ROI… The almighty “Return on investment”. This term is used by every single player in a business goal. Shockingly I read about other ROI that can substitute for monetary terms which everyone including my co Product Managers should know about. — As a #ProductManager, everything you do is centered around creating value for all stakeholders From the #business standpoint, value is consistent sales and great profit margins. For #investors and #shareholders, value is assurance of consistent dividend flow and assured future cash flow. For #customer, value is getting the answer to their problems in your product or service. For #employees, value is consistent timely payment of salaries and wages. For #suppliers, value is consistent payment of goods or service purchased. At the end all stakeholders must get value and managers and Product Managers are directly responsible for this — However, to successfully keep creating value, you must recognize that there are other ROIs. These ROIs are: 1. Return on Intelligence 2. Return on Imagination 3. Return on Initiative I personally added: 1. Return on Network 2 Return on Trust 3 Return on Leverage — Knowing how to achieve organizational goals through people is the core of management. But as a product manager, knowing how to create systemic value chains do all stakeholders via others is your strength to continuous growth I was speaking with Naomi Eselojor yesterday and that’s when I realized how powerful the Return on Network is. — Please don’t just sit on past knowledge as we go into 2025. Step up and change the way you operate so you can get better results By the way, is there any Product management issue or product issues you need help with? You can always send a DM. — Finally, Jesus saved, is saving, and will always save. We are in the month when Jesus came into this world Why don’t you gift baby Jesus your heart as a birthday gift 🎁 He will purify it and make your life beautiful. — Happy new month and have a productive week ahead Love you all — Cheers 🥂

They lied to you! Tech is not as easy as you may think 🤔 But I have found a way to scale fast. Here’s my 7-step growth guide 👇 — I got into this space in 2016 and I never really understood the turf till 2019 I built my first project that got me and my team close to a $1.2m deal in 2020/2021 Landed my first full-time role in 2021 after we failed and ran into debt Moved on to work for a global AI company in 2022 and went on to be the first staff from West Africa where I’d later head. Joined another company early 2023 and also started building DMZ KAM where I provided training to over 1,000 students across 19 countries. Today, I am leading the product team at Imo Varsity as we strive to help many tech enthusiasts and career transitioners looking to make a shift to this space. — But here’s the shocking news… I transitioned into product management last year and I have barely spent up to 2 years. I am currently a senior product manager who never was a junior or associate product manager. Currently overseeing two major in-house product and one external product. About to add the third in-house. Got a mouth watering £80,000 offer on the 15th of September for a senior product manager role — How did I scale so fast in my new career path? Here’s what I did different: 1- Didn’t focus on tools: I focused on the art of product management itself; solutionizing ideas and creating usable solutions in the shortest time frame. 2- Built my business mind: I understand the core business of product and not just the technicality of building them. My accounting background came in handy surprisingly 3- I built a product myself, acquired users, and hot 3 partners in 3 months 4- I analyzed over 100 product case studies and understood what moving a needle is product wise, business wise, marketing wise, and sales wise. 5- I improved my sales skills after my spell at my previous roles where I was in Tech sales. 6- I built, failed, and scaled publicly. 7- I dared to dream by taking on responsibilities bigger than my qualifications and I smashed them all. — I have been sharing my 10 cents here trying to de-emphasize on mastering tools alone If you’re looking to get into tech, master: 1- Technical Skills 2- Business basics 3- Marketing basics 4- Research 5- Build a project or portfolio in public These are not traditional tips so you might not like or resonate with it. However, take it from me that if you grow wide like this, you will scale faster. Why? You will build, design, develop, or shape products from a unique perspective. You will contribute more than you were expected to You will be so valuable to anyone who wins you over Your work and talk will show you off to the world. — Inegben Stanley, why do you recommend this path? I do because the future of work is no longer like it was 5 years ago You either start out extremely relevant or phase out on the long run because you’re extremely irrelevant. — Jesus loves you. Cheers 🥂
