Foundation Board members Guille Gil-Reynoso, Aimee Miller (center), and George Thurlow were among those who turned out for last evening's "Wednesday Wine Down" reception at the Santa Barbara Tennis Club. The purpose of the gathering was to welcome new Scholarship Foundation donors. Thanks to all who came. Special thanks to Board member Jen Brown for putting this fun event together!

Michael Young served as vice chancellor for student affairs at UC Santa Barbara for 25 years, so he knows a little something about the value of education. He has been a tremendous addition to the Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors!

Affirming its stature as a national leader in the areas of student financial aid and advisory services, the Scholarship Foundation is one of only six organizations nationwide selected by the U.S. Department of Education to conduct initial testing of the latest Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The effort will involve students from three Santa Maria high schools as well as financial aid specialists at Westmont College in Santa Barbara. https://lnkd.in/gzYaftdK
