According to our June 2024 survey, 90% of college-bound students reported not having enough funds to pay for the 2024-2025 school year. Out of the 9,097 students who responded, many will choose to take out student loans, leaving them in debt. Other students are reconsidering their current college plans and looking for alternative options. Students around the country are navigating the challenge of being unable to pay for college. We are thrilled to have been featured in CNN Underscored’s article about the 2024 FAFSA 🎉 With the massive delays that occurred with the 2024-2025 FAFSA this past school year, college students have been left with very minimal time to figure out how they will pay for the upcoming school year. Based on our April 2024 survey, 53% of students had not received a financial aid offer from the colleges they applied for and/or planned to attend.
