On National Coach Day, we want to recognize all our coaches for their strong leadership of our students. We would especially like to recognize Michele Mueller, the boys volleyball coach at Streamwood High School, who was named the 2024 Boys Volleyball Coach of the Year by the Illinois Volleyball Coaches Association last school year. Coach Mueller was honored by the Board of Education at the last board meeting. The Sabres finished the 2024 season with an overall record of 25-7 and placed 2nd in their conference; the best record and conference finish in program history.
