Now, the 57-story tower has received its full temporary certificate of occupancy, and is 100% leased. In a Q&A, as featured on the cover of Commercial Observer, Justin Oates of Cain International highlights how 830 Brickell is reshaping the local business landscape as the first Class A+ office tower to be delivered in #Miami’s Brickell Financial District in over a decade, attracting leaders in finance, tech and law, solidifying its status as a premier business destination in the region. “We’re really excited to deliver the first true trophy office tower in Miami. It’s been 10, 15 years since the last stand-alone office building was delivered. We’re delivering something on the quality level that doesn’t exist in the marketplace. City National Bank of Florida plans to grow its workforce by 20% over the next two years, adding 200 employees to its current staff of 1,000, reports South Florida Business Journal CEO and vice chairman Jorge Gonzalez says the #Miami-based regional #bank is in growth mode to meet the rising demand for CNB's services in several Florida markets. “We’re investing heavily in talent and #technology, the expansion of business lines such as capital markets and small business #banking, and through growth in geographic markets such as Palm Beach County, Orlando and Tampa," Gonzalez says. "We plan to add 200 team members in the next two years, and this infusion of talent will solidify our competitive edge when it comes to service, ensuring clients have access to local decision-makers, and our focus on understanding the ins and outs of our clients’ businesses.” “Florida’s resilience and steady growth over the past decade presents a phenomenal opportunity. Florida’s economy will continue to grow steadily as people, businesses and wealth migrate here. My sense is that #Florida will see more progress over the next 10 years than we saw over the last 20 years.” CNB is the second-largest South Florida-based bank with over $26 billion in assets— representing a 1,200% spike from $2 billion in assets in 2009. And much of that growth in that time has been organic, with only $3 billion in assets stemming from an acquisition. When I joined City National Bank of Florida in 2009, our bank had $2 billion in assets.
