As we approach application deadlines, I reflect on how Bucknell continues to make our process accessible to as many students as possible. One of those ways is to simplify the application fee waiver process. As a member of the Coalition for College, the Coalition makes it easy for students to receive application fee waivers in one short step. Students simply check any boxes that apply to them in the Fee Waiver section of the application on Scoir, and they’ll be able to discover schools that will waive their application fees. No additional documentation or verification is needed. In 2023-24, 47% of applicants qualified for a fee waiver.
