We’re proud to spotlight the second of the seven SCOPOS projects that won the 2024 SHN Architecture & Design Award in the CCRC/LPC Lite category—The Carnegie at Washingtonian Center. Visit the Senior Housing News link to see more: https://lnkd.in/edenG536. The Carnegie at Washingtonian Center features elegantly designed dining venues. The main restaurant includes a partially open exhibition kitchen with a French cooking suite, allowing diners to view the culinary action through glass windows. On the other side, the kitchen window opens into a teaching kitchen area, creating an exclusive experience for residents and their guests. Another highlight is the bar, which includes a unique expo window into the pantry, providing assisted living residents with an elevated experience. This upscale trend extends across the community, which also features a flex bar, fast-casual dining options at a bistro with a wood-fired hearth oven, and a convenient marketplace offering quick-to-grab items and snacks for residents, staff, and guests. The Carnegie at Washingtonian Center’s new dining spaces have elevated the community, and we’re thrilled to see this project recognized for its innovation and positive impact on community life.
