Scott Clark Toyota is a proud supporter of Riley's Catch, a non profit initiative built around challenging students to build greater character, stronger minds, and bigger faith through fishing and the outdoors. This past week, we supported “Hooked On Heroes”, an annual Riley’s Catch event focused on building relationships between first responders, kids, and the art of fishing. Participants learn to fish from first responder volunteers, and bring home their own fishing rod and tackle box. A huge thank you to the first responder teams from CMPD, the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office, Charlotte Fire Department, NC Wildlife, and the Mecklenburg EMS Agency for all their help! We had the pleasure of recently supporting the first community fishing event hosted by the Stallings Police Department. What an amazing way to connect with the people you serve. On top of an outing filled with lots of fish catches each participant walked away with a brand new fishing rod. Great job to the Stallings PD and congrats to all the new anglers!
