This week we were delighted to join Alasdair Allan MSP on a visit to SRA member site Argaty Red Kites: a working farm to which a family of beavers was relocated in 2021. We enjoyed a tour of the beaver pond with Tom, and talked about the role of the species in shaping wetland ecosystems and mitigating flooding on the farm, as well as the importance of adequate funding for nature restoration to benefit communities as well as wildlife.

We're attending the Scottish Green Party conference this weekend in Greenock, where we'll be taking part in the afternoon fringe events on Saturday.
