ScoutMine has been working with LinkedIn and Google to take down over 5,000 fake job postings that were generated in the United States, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. These bad actors were generating over 200 new fake job posts per day. They used our ScoutMine logo and recreated external accounts falsely posting thousands of fake jobs. We continued to work tirelessly reporting every post as they were being generated while LinkedIn generated special code to remove these fake job listings. After several days, we have been able to remove all of these fake job posts from the external accounts. I want to thank everyone who helped report all of these fake job posts and where they were being generated. Because of all of your support, we were able to target those Countries first so that we could take them down 1 by 1. It’s extremely aggravating to all of those involved in dealing with mess. Never underestimate these scammers and what they will do to wreak havoc on anyone. Change your passwords all of the time and use 2FA when available. Don’t let them have the time and day to gain access into your personal accounts. Stay safe everyone.
