About us
Our mission is to connect nonprofits to the philanthropic community by effectively sharing the organization's impact on the people they serve. Scribe is led by Autumn Keck, a fundraising expert with over 20 years of experience in the areas of grant writing, major gift solicitation, event management, and communications. Autumn, a graduate of North Carolina State University, began her fundraising career at Neighborhood House, a nonprofit in Wilmington, Delaware. She went on to work at the American University Washington College of Law, The JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State University, and Girl Scouts of North Carolina Coastal Pines. Headquartered in North Carolina, Scribe has been assisting nonprofits with our grant writing services since 2011. We have raised millions of dollars by telling each organization's compelling story with a focus on the people they serve.

Funders often look at how well organizations engage with their communities, tell their stories, and highlight their impact. By showcasing your nonprofit's mission, programs, and success stories online, you're not just building awareness—you’re also demonstrating transparency, accountability, and community support, all of which are crucial to winning grants. Small nonprofit teams can make a big impact on social media with the right strategy! Forbes Nonprofit Council members share some key tips to maximize your reach without overwhelming your resources. Here are just a few key points from the article: - Focus on key platforms where your audience is active (Instagram, LinkedIn) - Use tools like Canva & Hootsuite for efficiency - Consistency is key — create a content calendar and post regularly - Share authentic stories of your community's impact - Train staff to engage with audiences and build relationships For more insights, check out the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gGysUVF9 #Nonprofit #NonprofitNews #NonprofitTips

On this #FeatureFriday, we're sharing this heartwarming news from our client, LatinxEd. In today's modern-day society, it's pretty common to only see our peers virtually. The team at LatinxEd had a fun and festive team bonding in-person, where they were able to reconnect on sharing the same mission.
📍 As a mostly remote team traveling across North Carolina, we cherish the moments when we come together at our home base at Elon University for our monthly community day. 🕯️This time, we got a head start on decorating for Día de los Muertos, taking a moment to honor our loved ones as we set up a beautiful altar to commemorate those who have passed. 🧡 We were especially grateful to welcome some of our local LatinxEd Fellows to join us. These days of reconnection, reflection, and realignment with our comunidad are what keep us grounded and inspired.
