About us
The Space Domain Awareness TAP Lab ensures space superiority missions succeed by rapidly onboarding apps to close gaps. We decompose kill chains, prioritize needs with operators, map needs to technologies, and onboard technology to existing platforms -- getting solutions into operations quickly. We need to partner with industry, academia, and across the government to succeed.

If the Space Force is going to figure out how to get eyes on orbital bogies, it needs the most advanced software devs working on the challenge. But there’s a problem: The military’s launch alert data is too highly-classified to hand over to a bunch of programmers in a start-up. https://lnkd.in/eXs-4HnU

#Innovation Update: Since October of 2023, we have completed three Apollo #Accelerator cohorts. On average, there are 150 individuals, 40 companies and 5 universities participating at any time. Right now, we are at a peak with 218 people engaged. So far we have awarded 20 subscriptions ranging from $20K to $200K. These companies aligned their existing R&D plans to solve our problems...and got almost immediate returns. We have until next October to build a full prototype system. Consider applying for a future cohort at Www.sdataplab.org #space

Apollo #Accelerator Cohort 4 Demo Day is 29 October 2024! See a demo of some of the great work done by 59 organizations, companies, and academic institutions over the last 3 months in the SDA TAP Lab. More has been accomplished than can fit into 3 hours, so we encourage you to stick around afterward to network. Highlights include tip/cue automation for recovery of unknown and lost objects by optical, RF, and non-earth imaging sensors as well as international collaboration with allies and partners. We continue to mature previously developed prototypes and move toward tighter integration into automated workflows. We are also excited to announce our plans to build a full prototype battle management system, which we will operate in support of the Victus Haze mission in late 2025! Learn more at Apollo Accelerator Cohort 4 Demo Day! #space #innovation
