What are you doing to honor #blackhistorymonth?
For #blackhistorymonth, I started with a long overdue visit to “The Embrace” sculpture in Freedom Plaza on Boston Common, our nation’s first public park. As a white woman I know I don’t experience the challenges black and brown citizens do, as a woman I know what it’s like to be overlooked. I appreciate the artists intent to honor Coretta Scott King as much as Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King who championed his legacy for decades long after his murder, and is seldom recognized for all she did to advance #love #equity and #justice. The older I get, the more I like #abstractart Nice work Hank Thomas Thomas
