With international experience and standout seasons with the Dallas Jackals, Dewald brings strength, determination, and a true passion for rugby to Seattle. Dewald shared his excitement, saying, “I’ve always admired Seattle’s program. Our Seattle Seawolves players took the pitch with the future stars of rugby at the Microsoft Rugby GIVE Tournament! It was a fantastic day filled with energy, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. 😊 Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to support Rugby Washington through a silent auction, bringing the community together for a great cause. A big thank you to Microsoft and everyone who participated and contributed. With experience at Los Pumas, Jaguares, and multiple MLR teams, Juan brings grit and expertise to our front row. Juan shared, “I’m excited to be part of the Seawolves, a team with a big rugby community and strong competitiveness in the MLR. I’m ready to help fight for the shield next season.” Head Coach Allen Clarke said, “From experience, we know the importance of having quality dominant scrummaging props to share the load throughout the season.
