Planned giving can often seem intimidating or assumed to be “only” for people of a certain age or income. But planned giving encompasses a wide variety of giving vehicles that can provide flexibility for donors of any age and income. Recently we spoke to two donors, Melissa and Pat, who have both made planned gifts to support Second Helpings. Their stories and gifts are very different, representing the variety of support that fuels our mission to fight hunger from all angles. https://lnkd.in/gZXwxVwp
Planned giving offers strategic giving options for two donors - Second Helpings, Inc.

It's #NationalPastaMonth AND #NationalNoodleDay! 🍝 Second Helpings uses 1,500+ pounds of pasta each week, and it's one of our favorite ingredients for creating tasty, nutritious meals to fight hunger. To our pasta donors, tilt operators, and grab-and-go prep teams, we say thank you!

Today I had a very REAL experiential learning opportunity. Spent the morning delivering Second Helpings meals with my new Sheroe, Ashley Acuff of Nine13sports. This isn’t a one and done for her. It’s everyday! Quite humbling to serve those experiencing food insecurity. But proud there are solutions and collaborative partners. Sometimes leadership means rolling up your sleeves, not just pontificating. Definitely got my steps in. And I’m energized. We can do more! #thejobofaboardchair
