As another act of Kindness, members from SECU's LGBTQ+ ERG visited Baltimore Safe Haven to treat the staff to breakfast for all of their hard work. They also brought in 100 hygiene kits (each of which included shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, shaving cream, soap, toothbrush, comb, and razor), and 250 maxi pads. Since its inception, BSH has grown to become a leading provider of comprehensive support services for TLGBQIA+ individuals in Baltimore. Through its housing programs, BSH provides stable housing solutions and support services to individuals facing homelessness and housing insecurity. The organization has also developed a wide range of programs and services focused on mental health support, physical health coordination, workforce development, legal support, advocacy, and community building. #secukindness

He made: - 60 Burgers - 60 Hot Dogs - 10 Edible Veggie Burgers - 6 Very Burnt/not edible Veggie Burgers (We won't hold that last one against him.) Thank you, Erik, for continuing to spread kindness! Monday was SECU's 5th annual Day of Kindness. Over 350 SECU employees spread out across Maryland volunteering at various non-profits. Over that time, we: 💚 Read books to elementary students with Teach for America Baltimore 💚 Packed meals for those in need at Moveable Feast 💚 Harvested sweet potatoes at University of Maryland Terp Farm 💚 Prepared a meal for residents of Ulman Foundation House 💚 ...and so much more!
