Our Director of Policy Samantha Buckley was in Mississippi this week making the case for early in-person voting, which would make for less paperwork for circuit clerks' offices to handle than with absentee or affidavit ballots and lead to shorter lines on Election Day.

Rural Wisconsin counties have just one in-person polling location every 34 square miles —vs. one every square 13 miles in suburban counties. The use of ballot drop boxes, banned by the state's supreme court in 2022, would help ease these disproportionate burdens on rural Wisconsin voters.
