🛡️ Friday news: Bruin is now SOC2 compliant! Security & compliance has been our top priority since day 0. We provide core infrastructure, and our customers trust us with their business-critical workloads. This requires a deep understanding of the trade-offs around various decisions and their implications on our security and compliance posture. With SOC2 Type 1, we have standardized quite a lot of our existing internal practices and restructured them around the framework. This allowed us to gain clarity on our internal and external processes and streamlined our approach to security and compliance. As usual, the first 80% of the process was quite quick, and then the remaining 20% took the majority of our time to wrap. Our internal compliance champions Alberto J Gomez and Djamila BAROUDI, Ph.D. have driven this process end-to-end, and we wouldn't be able to get to the audit stage without their diligence. Looking forward to growing our compliance coverage with new frameworks, special thanks to Shrav Mehta and the team at Secureframe for their support.
