This bipartisan bill, spearheaded by Representatives Valerie Foushee and Frank Lucas, supports AI capacity-building in Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs), HBCUs, and Tribal Colleges. By expanding the National Science Foundation (NSF)'s ExpandAI program, the act ensures that the future of AI is inclusive and representative of all communities. 🌍🤖 “There are hundreds of thousands of college students in the country that can make meaningful, rewarding, substantive contributions to the AI ecosystem — but they have no pathway to doing so.
