Today, we pause in remembrance of the heroes who selflessly served our communities with great courage 23 years ago; those who sacrificed their lives to help neighbors in need during one of the darkest days in our history.      We honor the men and women we tragically lost on Sept. 11, and remain united in gratitude for the first responders, military members and all the unsung heroes who work tirelessly to keep us safe every day.    We thank you for your service and sacrifice - today and every day.
