Another group of SELCO team members used their Paid Volunteer Time to visit Greenhill Humane Society and help with some deep cleaning of the kennels! 🐾 From deep cleaning to snuggling with some kittens, we love to see team members out in the community. 💛

🌟 The 2024-25 SELCO Homework Heroes program through the Kids Club of Harney County at Henry Slater Elementary School is officially underway! 📚 This awesome program offers students afterschool tutoring twice a week to ensure academic success. The Burns Branch kicked off the year by providing pencils for all the students and wishing them a great school year ahead. 🎒✏️

Sponsoring and building ShelterCare move-in kits for over seven years. 💛🏡 Nine team members headed over to ShelterCare in Eugene last week to build move-in kits which are provided to ShelterCare participants moving into housing directly off the street. These kits provide all the home essentials to get you started, like dishes, cleaning supplies, towels, laundry detergent, and more. Thanks for having us, ShelterCare! The annual SELCO Wellness Fair was a hit! With nearly 30 local vendors and an abundance of health and wellness resources, our team members are geared up for a healthy year ahead. From biometric screenings to chair massages, flu shots to raffle prizes, we had it all! 🌟 A big thank you to all of the vendors who participated in this year's event and to the 25 volunteers who coordinated the fair. 🙌

It's Mexico's Independence Day, and Hispanic Heritage Month! To celebrate the day, we're sharing a spotlight on Laura, a SELCO team member who frequently volunteers in the community and has represented SELCO at many cultural events over the past year. Most recently, she volunteered at Noche Cultural, Herencia Hispania, and the Black Cultural Initiative's BBQ!
