    Don’t dig your own grave by revealing your exact salary in a job interview! Never say: “I’m currently earning exactly $X.” Say this instead: “My compensation expectations are around $X, considering my experience and the value I bring.” By rounding up and focusing on your worth, you’re steering the conversation towards your future potential, not your past earnings.
