With last week’s unusually high rate cut by the Fed, we’ve already seen some positive sentiment within CRE (Bisnow did a great piece aggregating commentary from notable industry names - will link that in the comments). While it’s not a silver bullet, it is some forward momentum that’s starting to unlock some optimism. And with more rate cuts hinted on the horizon, our partners and clients are starting to ease up on the brake pedal. If you’ve been one of the many sitting on talent acquisition needs for the better part of the last two years, the tides are changing. Now is the time to dust off the backlog and start to get ahead on getting those roles fulfilled so you are well positioned to head into the last few months of ’24 and prep for ’25. And if you’re in the glass-half-empty mindset (because there are obviously many factors at play), that’s fair too.
