SelfCAD is Hiring an Experienced STEM Grant Writer! We are seeking a highly skilled grant writer with a minimum of 10 years experience in securing grants for K-12 STEM education. Candidates with a background in Career and Technical Education (CTE) are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities: * Research and identify grant opportunities for K-12 STEM programs * Collaborate with #educators, admin and #nonprofit leaders * Develop compelling, impactful and customized proposals * Create a process to track and report on grant outcomes * Ensure the success and sustainability of funded programs These federal, state and local grants will provide funding to significantly enhance Career and Technical Education (CTE) program and assist in launching programs focused on early exposure to 3D technology, starting as early as 3rd grade using innovative cross-curricular engagement. It will also support industry-based certifications for 7th-12th graders. Integration into school's curricula, will aim to equip students with the skills they need to succeed in a variety of fields, including #3D + Entrepreneurship. We propose using this grant to fund: * SelfCAD Student licenses * 3D Technology Industry-Based Certifications * Handheld 3D scanners * Bamboo 3D printers * #VR Goggles * Augmented Reality (AR) curriculum and programs These resources will provide students with hands-on experience using cutting-edge technology, fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an Experienced Grant Writer at SelfCAD. The Grant Writer will be responsible for grant administration, proposal writing, prospect research, grant writing, fundraising, and other related tasks to secure funding for the organization.
