Why does Sekf Fund Health currently have a team of nurses to cover the entire state of Wisconsin and beyond? To hold the hands of members as they navigate the healthcare process. Because even when we simplify healthcare, it still can be complicated, and we want to help members make the best decisions related to the accessibility, quality, and cost of care.

The Self Fund Health team is growing fast, because advisors and employers are seeing the value of a genuine, sustainable, performance-oriented health plan - one that finds a win for all partners involved. First, there was employee # 1 and 2, then 3, then 4, and now 11, or 12, or 13... We continue to expand and grow quickly, and we are looking for passionate learners who want to make a difference. Look us up today if you know of anyone who might want to join the healthcare movement! Self Fund Health

Welcome Sarah Mumm to our Nurse Navigator team!!! Sarah lives in the Lancaster, Wisconsin area, which is northwest of Platteville. Sarah's experience is in areas of critical care inpatient nursing in a rural hospital setting. She enjoys following the activities of the Direct Primary Care Alliance and she is currently reading The Price We Pay by Marty Makary M.D., M.P.H. Marty will be at our conference next week!! What Gets You Up in the Morning? One of the best parts of being a nurse is that every day brings on a new challenge and something new to learn. I am always up for a good challenge. I strongly believe that taking risks can bring the most reward in life. Working hard for great care at the best price for Self Fund Health members is what fuels me and excites me for my work as a nurse navigator. What are you Most Excited About in Joining Self Fund Health? I am excited to be a part of an empowering movement that Self Fund Health has created for my fellow Midwesterners. I look forward to being a voice and advocate for our members when sourcing the best affordable health care. Self Fund Health is growing and we are looking for passionate and talented individuals to join our team. For so long, the industrial medical complex has transitioned the buyer/seller relationship to be a win win-lose. The sellers win and the buyers continually lose. This has become unsustainable. The Self Fund Health Plan is designed to have no “conflicts of interest” and to be “golden rule compliant”. Everyone providing healthcare and everyone buying healthcare is in a “win” situation.

Welcome Allie Duenow RN, BSN to our Nurse Navigator team!!! Allie lives in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. Background: I started my career as a critical care RN at an inner-city, community hospital in Milwaukee, WI. While there, I was able to learn the ins and outs of medicine, hone my nursing skills, and begin grasping the many gaps in our healthcare systems. I've spent the last three years in hospice as an RN case manager, bedside nurse, and team manager. I'm looking forward to leveraging my past experiences to advocate for and empathize with the many people Self Fund Health has set out to help. What Gets You Up in the Morning? Other than being a fervent Milwaukee foodie, I'm passionate about learning in all aspects of life. Getting the opportunity to listen to other people's stories, failures, and passions, then find commonality and connection. These exchanges keep me motivated and feed my soul. And if it's over a cup of coffee or a delicious meal, even better! What are you Most Excited About in Joining Self Fund Health? I'm excited about the opportunity to dive into a solution-oriented organization. I've long been surrounded by the inequities within a broken system. I've heard (and contributed to) the innumerable complaints of the many failures of America's healthcare and I'm fired up to be a part of an organization that is bringing creative, sustainable solutions to the table that will have a lasting, positive impact on Wisconsinites access to affordable and high-quality healthcare. Self Fund Health is growing and we are looking for passionate and talented individuals to join our team. Good News!! The General Admission Rate for the August Healthcare Improvement Conference has been Dropped to $499!! If you are familiar with big conferences, you know how expensive they are to put on. We are talking about venue fees, food, AV expenses, printables, food tickets, drink tickets, speaker fees, travel costs, etc. Our goal from the start was to pay for our costs and break even. I am pleased to share that strong sponsor support will allow us to reduce the general admission fee down to $499 (was $999). For all who paid the $999 amount, you will be receiving a refund for the difference! Please reach out directly with any questions. Seating is limited and the pace of registrations are picking up, but there is still time to get a seat. Platinum sponsorships are sold out, and we do have a few Gold and Silver sponsor spaces open yet. Register here: https://lnkd.in/gEHbxBPe Check out this speaker lineup!
