  • Semperis Strategic Advisor Mark Hatfield, founder and general partner at Ten Eleven Ventures said it best recently on our meteoric rise to more than $100 million in ARR. He said we are proof that specialized ‘best-in-breed’ solutions can grow into successful companies. With fewer than 1 in every 1,000 companies reaching $100 million in ARR, we are committed to stopping the pain experienced by organizations when their identity systems are compromised. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐃? 𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 270 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬? Semperis' Active Directory Forest Recovery (ADFR) validates each backup rule when it’s created to ensure it can be used to generate a valid forest backup set. By default, the ADFR backup validation process checks to ensure there is at least one Domain Controller (DC) hosting each partition in the backup set. You can easily monitor the status of the backup rule validation process on the Backup Settings page of the ADFR Administration portal. Don't leave your AD vulnerable. Ensure your backups are reliable and ready when you need them most. Learn more about Semperis Active Directory Recovery: https://lnkd.in/gPpmSEDm

  • Very few enterprise software companies surpass $100M in ARR that we continue to celebrate our milestone. Fewer than 1 in every 1,000 companies achieves this goal. As we look ahead to 2025, it is critical that organizations put identity at the center of cyber resilience. Today, every organization will be compromised, and it matters how quickly the response is. Having an assumed breach mindset is key. It is also critical to have a backup and recovery plan ready to activate when identities are compromised, which happens today in 90 % of ransomware attacks. Backing up your identity system improves operational resilience and allows organizations to recover fully from compromise in minutes instead of days and weeks. Celebrate with us.

  • Is the MachineAccountQuota still set to its default value of 10 in your Active Directory domain? This setting allows any authenticated user to add up to 10 computer accounts, creating opportunities for attackers to exploit techniques like ESC1 where Domain Computers for example can enroll, yes we've seen this in real environments. Set MachineAccountQuota to 0 to prevent this. If non-admins need to join devices, delegate the necessary permissions to specific groups or accounts instead of relying on the default setting. This reduces your attack surface while maintaining operational flexibility. #TuesdayTip #CybersecurityTip
