Everyone deserves a friend! We aim to enhance the quality of life for seniors in our community through weekly visits!
About us
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for the elderly through socialization and information. We match one of our volunteers with a person who would like a weekly visit. Our volunteers spend a minimum of one hour per week visiting their companion-and they visit the same person every week so friendships are formed! It is important to remember that even though our clients are older now they have a life-long history of employment, raising families, serving in the military, attending worship services, traveling, and much more. They have a lot of stories that they love to share! Senior companion program has been providing weekly visits no cost since 1978. We are always looking for new volunteers as well as new people to visit!
